The Michiana Skyraiders are dedicated to the freedom of flight using radio-controlled aircraft.
From small electrics to giant scale aircraft, the Skyraiders embrace all levels and skill-sets of R/C.
Located just 6 miles west of South Bend, IN, the Skyraiders field features a 500 x 200 foot grass north/south runway,
60 acres of over-fly, running water, Port-a-Johns, Soda Machine, 2 shelters and electric for charging batteries.
The SkyRaiders flying site is an AMA controlled flying field, utilizing both 72 MHZ and 2.4 Technology. Frequency Pins are used for 72 MHZ . This ensures a safe flying experience.
Flying Guests are always welcomed, but must be a current AMA member and are encouraged to join if they wish
to fly more than 3 times a year.
Spectators are always welcomed to visit us and learn more about the wonderful world of R/C.
